Birthday
Assalamualaikum!
So, recently my birthday has just passed by. Its funny though to think. I mean, don't you at least think the same thoughts?
Have you ever ? You are just about to advice people about something and you realize, that you're doing the same mistake too. That's why we have to keep reminding ourselves and the people around us about the end. I mean, we may not be perfect enough be we try to improve ourself too.
Oh, and back to the title! yes it was my birthday and I got a very decent present! It was such a surprise and I'm just so grateful to Allah for the rezeki He has given to my family. Never forget to say Alhamdulillah! ( Now I can blog much more often hehe )
But now I want to touch on a kind of sensitive topic that has been dying to be typed. Its the topic of DEEN.
Now, being a teenager makes us filled with so much mixed emotions and its very important for us to regulate these emotions so that we can prevent hazards like zina and drug addiction right?

I wait for at least 1 year for my birthday and then the day just slowly starts to fade and I continue to do the same cycle every year.Okay, so I don't know if you have the same thoughts you know, but lately I have been having deep thoughts. Maybe the end is coming soon.

Well, It never even crossed my mind that I had been such a brat during primary school and I admit, going to religious school helps very much!
I never really cared if I chatted with boys until late night, shared all my secrets and played a little splashing game somethokes but now, 'throw back-ing' I feel so ashamed to admit what has happened in the past but that was the old me. the immature one.
Mummy explained to me that she was actually relieved that I was offered a religious school, not boarding school as my attitude might had gone worse. I, myself feel grateful to Allah for giving me the chance to repent my past wrong doings.
I noticed through social medias that many of my old friends, that used to be the most 'alim' and 'baik' turned not so okay after primary school. That's why we're teached to choose the right friends, friends that lead you to Jannah.
They are the friends that would advise you if you did anything wrong and always remind you to follow the sunnah and al-Quran. Islam is simple, but we are the ones that make it seem hard.
Many of us also change from what they really are because of the objectification of the social media.
Put on make up, do a seducing pose, show all your beauty, wealth, and followers and likes will be dying to be with you.
But the question is, is Allah with you?
You try your best to impress others while you are effortless in impressing Allah. Did you forget that it is He who gave you all the Health, Wealth and Beauty you own right now?
For your own sake, impress Allah first, and Allah will make everyone else impressed with you.
