Restarting life
Salam Alaykum,
yes . I haven't updated in such a long time. I wanted to, honestly, but procrastination got over me. I had true intentions to update while I was in school, but somehow, that free time would be accompanied by studying and frequent naps, needless to say, it's a hectic life, packed as a student of boarding school. Especially prestigious schools like MRSM Tun Ghafar Baba.
is amongst the many that are told to TGB students constantly, and when we slack off in examinations, especially in our standard examination (which, believe me, is harder than finals), we tend to become upset, and start to comment on this and that.
So here, the what I wanted to talk about is what TGB taught me throughout the year;

"MRSM TGB really pushes us hard,"well, to be honest, deep down, I disagree. I don't really think that the teachers really push us that hard, but its the expectation that everyone gives.
"Straight A punya laaa"

So here, the what I wanted to talk about is what TGB taught me throughout the year;
- To be independent.
- To realize how much dirty clothes you have and take responsibility upon it
- To choose the right friends.
- To not take anything personally
- To protect your ground
- To keep staying on your feet
- That maybe the boy you like, is just because you like the concept of him
- Try not to hurt other people's feelings.
- True colours will appear after school
- Sometimes you need to be a little hypocrite
- Language subjects are subjective according to teachers, don't worry if you don't get an A.
- Mathematics/Additional Mathematics can only be helped with exercise.
- You won't have time for Wattpad
- Or Novels
- You'll watch so many movies
- You'll discover so many new genres.
- You'll become versatile to everything
- You have to fit in with everyone
- You might not find your soulmate, but you'll find true friends.
- You have to wake up from dreaming and step into reality.
- Help your elders no matter what.
- Never ever ever talk bad about teachers.
- If you've done bad things, you have to be brave enough to admit it.
- Liking someone isn't wrong
- Don't fall in love yet
- Prioritize yourself before others.
- Find yourself
- Learn how to study according to your preferences.
- Stop being clingy
- Eat healthy
- Prevent yourself from going to the store / cafe
- Do your duties as a prefect
- Never not send laundry to the dobi
- Always turn up early
- Wake up early
- Have a goodnight beauty sleep
- Gossip is everywhere
- Stay strong
All in all, staying at a boarding school is tough, and I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but I had a hard time adapting, despite how strong I look, albeit I've been to TGB numerous times during Sarah's studies, although people think I'm from MRSM too during my lower form,
Adapting to a new environment is hardand you should never underestimate those who are in sorrow during their first few days and encourage them. Oh, and seniors should stop the annoying-ass-heartbreaking roll calls to the juniors. Its unnecessary, really. Even now, I'm still adapting my life here, especially that its socializing with friends 24/7 without parents and although there might be wardens, still it ain't the same as our parents.
