POST SPM - 2 ( What to do after SPM )

Salam Alaykum,

15 March 2018.

it was a date feared by all SPM candidates of year 2017 . . . .

except me

well , probably other people too, but i didn't know why I was feeling this way. I already had a vision where I'd be working full time at shopping malls wearing sloppy clothes as a waitress and all.

not that it's an offense, as I, too had been working part time after SPM at Boost, which was very fun!

I started working on the 18th December 2017 until 14th January 2018 and I'd say, it sure was a great experience! My co-workers were extra friendly and nice and I didn't have much trouble fitting in with them, except probably our song tastes which vary from Kendrik Lamar to Taylor Swift to Melayu jiwang karat and KPop. Our diversity was probably what made it fun.

It was really hard, my first day there. being the youngest among the other 20+ year old workers, but all was well. Thanks to my friend Shuraya too who actually recommended me to work there as she was working at another outlet in KL.

To say I was pissed off would be an understatement. Being a newbie meant being told to do everything by everyone else. But one thing that probably helped me through was that I was working with my ex schoolmate from primary school (who I didn't even talk to before) and it turns out he started working just a week before me, so I guess we were all in this together?

I didn't even recognize him at first, because I only met him for a while as I was on morning shift and he was on night shift. but when I did, god, I sighed of relief! At least someone my age that I could relate to and talk about SPM results vibe.

Anyhow, I stopped on January as I had lots of events like my REVO batch dinner and also had NASI LEMAK FOR ALL with my TGB mates early in February. In the end, however I  began to work again after all the events for 2 weeks before attaining my results.

And like I said, I DIDNT FEEL ANYTHING. LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME?

In the end, due to not feeling anything, I checked my results exactly at 10 a.m. and got it back on 10.09 a.m. Alhamdulillah, a smile was carved on my face looking at the SMS.

to be short, I did not only pass Sejarah, but I got A+!! not to brag, but with the commotion that 17k students failed Sejarah on Twitter, I was inevitably one of the students that was super worried because when I did the exam, the first the I thought was,

DID I EVEN STUDY???

But Alhamdulillah , despite everything, I made it, although not the best, but I did better :)
